The most powerful hurricane in the last half century swept across Siberia. According to preliminary data, three people were killed and more than ten were injured.

The wind tore roofs off houses, overturned bus stops, and broke trees. The hurricane raged in at least six regions: in the Altai Territory and Krasnoyarsk, as well as in the Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk and Kemerovo regions. The reason is the extreme temperature difference. In Novokuznetsk, a tree fell on the car of an elderly couple. In Barnaul, a woman was killed by a piece of roof blown off her own house by the wind. According to forecasters, the hurricane will then move east - to the Baikal region and Yakutia.
