Vorgashor — the most densely populated of the villages of the “Vorkuta ring

Воргашор — самый густонаселенный из посёлков “воркутинского кольца”. В отличие от других, его не собираются полностью расселять, — более того, именно в Воргашор, наряду с самой Воркутой, переселяют из соседних вымирающих шахтерских посёлков.
Население Воргашора в настоящее время составляет примерно 9,5 тысяч человек (в конце 1980-х было около 25 тысяч). Здесь также немало заброшенных построек — некоторые пятиэтажки заброшены целиком, в других отселены лишь отдельные секции. Заброшен дом культуры, но действует спортивный комплекс. Есть школа и детские сады, работают сетевые супермаркеты, ходят регулярные рейсовые автобусы, соединяющие Воргашор с Воркутой.

Vorgashor — the most densely populated of the villages of the “Vorkuta ring”. Unlike the others, it is not going to be completely resettled — moreover, it is to Vorgashor, along with Vorkuta itself, that people are moving from neighboring endangered mining villages. The population of Vorgashor is currently about 9.5 thousand people (at the end of the 1980s it was about 25 thousand). There are also many abandoned buildings here — some five-story buildings are abandoned entirely, in others only individual sections have been resettled. The house of culture has been abandoned, but a sports complex is operating. There is a school and kindergartens, chain supermarkets operate, and there are regular buses connecting Vorgashor with Vorkuta.
