US hands over new $100 million military aid package to Ukraine

The US Department of Defense will provide the Ukrainian military with weapons allocated from the stocks of the American army under the Presidential Drawdown Authority program. The new package will include: ➤ Stinger anti-aircraft missiles; ➤ one HIMARS and additional ammunition; ➤ artillery shells of 155 mm and 105 mm caliber; ➤ tube-launched missiles with optical tracking and wire guidance (TOW); ➤ anti-tank systems Javelin and AT-4; ➤ more than 3 million rounds of small arms ammunition; ➤ explosive ammunition for clearing obstacles; ➤ cold weather gear; ➤ spare parts, maintenance and other auxiliary equipment. Earlier, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin announced the military assistance package during his visit to Kyiv. He stressed that US military support for Ukraine “continues” and “other allies and partners also take responsibility” to ensure it.
