A tourist from the Rostov region died in a June avalanche in Sochi

29-year-old Kristina Lilenko, together with her mother, was walking along the “Alpine Meadows” eco-route at the Krasnaya Polyana resort. Suddenly, a snow mass weighing several tons came down from the slope. Both women bravely set out on the road. But Christina’s mother was lucky - she suffered bruises and abrasions, and the girl received multiple injuries. She was hospitalized, but could not be saved. The victim died at night. The day before she was buried in her native Azov. The route was closed while the inspection took place.
